Wilmslow Symphony Orchestra

Welcome to Wilmslow Symphony Orchestra!

We are a large amateur symphony orchestra, playing a wide range of repertoire. Founded in 1947, we give 5 concerts a year in the Evans Theatre in Wilmslow Leisure Centre. Rehearsing weekly, we work with professional conductors, soloists and leader.

Our season runs from September to June and we have a great set of programmes coming up.

Our next concert

Our next concert is on Saturday 24th October 2026 at the Evans Theatre at Wilmslow Leisure Centre. It features Jonathan Martindale from the CBSO playing Tchaikovsky’s magnificent Violin Concerto.
