Orchestra in concert

NEXT CONCERT

Our next concert will be on June 8th.
It will begin with two popular works by Tchaikovsky. Marche Slave is a rousing and patriotic work based on folk themes and Capriccio Italien a richly descriptive fantasy for orchestra inspired by a trip to Rome.

The final work in the concert will be Scheherazade, the dazzling romantic masterpiece by Rimsky-Korsakov, full of evocative melodies and rhythmic vitality.
We are delighted to welcome back Stephen Threlfall to conduct the concert.
